Email and Phone Consultations
This "at a distance" type of help is to allow us to help anyone, anywhere who can speak, read and write English. Recommended for many dog problems, and when other options are not possible.
Email Consults are:
NEW CLIENTS
Based on an initial assessment form you’ll complete, we’ll determine whether your pet’s problem or your specific needs are suitable for an email consultation. If it is, you’ll receive a detailed behavior questionnaire and may need to answer additional follow-up questions about your pet’s behavior. You’ll then be emailed a specific, detailed behavior modification plan and be entitled to 3 months of email follow-up with the behaviorist.
The first week will be working on the details of your request, and providing you with your plan. The second week is you getting started, and the following two weeks is putting the plan into practice. For two months following, I will support the plan with email advise and assistance. This will serve to fine tune your work, and answer your questions. You must have reliable email access, and we may send you pictures to assist visually with a concept.
3-Month Email Consultation Fee $500. We check email daily, but may only be able to answer your questions every two or three days depending on how long your question takes to answer. You will however get detailed answers.
EXISTING CLIENTS
This is for clients I have seen in the past that do not require all the up front reports that a new client will need. If I have not seen you in some time, and you do require this, you will have to fall into the above category. Because I offer two weeks free support after a training session, I wanted to be sure to offer something after that time, that is less in cost then for a new client, but yet still equally as helpful for your progress if you cannot get back to me for a training session for some reason.
3-Month Email consultation fee is $350. We check email daily, but may only be able to answer your questions every two or three days depending on how long your question takes to answer. You will however get detailed answers.
Phone Consultations are:
Needed at times in emergency situations, in support for my regular clients, when you are really busy and have not time for scheduled training sessions, or any other reason that necessitates its use. A single consult is not meant to be a all encompassing answer to complicated problems, however, most everyday issues can usually be dealt with on the phone such as getting a new dog, house training, adopting a rescue dog, pet
selection counseling, minor behavior problems, ideas for mental and physical stimulation for your dog, and more. Brief consults of less than an hour do not include written recommendations, handouts or follow-up. For consults of an hour or more, a brief report will follow if you have email access.
Fee is $10.00 per 15 minutes.
Both can be prepaid via pal pay on my "payment options" page.
