Kustom K9 Training is owned and operated by Kim Willis (Master Trainer) in Chesapeake, VA. Kim brings over 50 years of canine training to our Hampton Roads area. Her associate and consulting trainer Mr. Bennett (Master Trainer with NAPWDA) also bring 50 years to the table. Kim specializes in everyday dog needs like exercise and conditioning, pack work, natural feeding, and behavior modification including aggression issues, and hard to find disciplines including all types of scent work and search and rescue. She works a lot with service dogs of all types, and is passionate about helping all breeds. We train naturally with a combination of techniques that suit the dog, the owner, and the situation or type of training needed. I founded Kustom K9 Training in 2007 to offer many unique programs to dog owners not previously available, to do more with service dogs, and to enable me to support my volunteer work in K9 Search and Rescue. I possess a wide range of canine training disciplines that include 60+ titles and certifications on my dogs, and many more coaching and training other professionals and K9 Teams to their goals. Adding in that we also work with aggression issues sets us apart from pet dog trainers. Even though we work in he greater Tidewater area, we do help owners across the US via phone consults.
